I Am Back !

Thank you my loyal viewers for your patience!
I have been occupied with becoming a Grandmother; and oh! what a wonderful, blessed and most "GRAND" experience it has become!
On May 5, 2011 my daughter gave birth to little Robert William Christensen. I was able to be in San Clemente with her and her husband for this miracle. I have been very busy trying to help. I have bonded with my grandson. When I gaze upon his face, I think of how great is my God!
As I inspect his tiny pea-like toes, and his angel-kissed dimples, his clear blue eyes, and his cherub-like laughter; I thank God for giving our family this gift. I humbly ask God to guide us on how to help Robert become a man after God's heart. Here we have a brand new life, a clean slate so to speak. I know he will never be perfect, and that life will throw many lessons his way. I pray for his salvation, his future wife, and for love to live in his heart. I never knew that my heart contained a secret place for this child. The door to Grandma hood has been unlocked and the love that dwells there is indescribable. To observe your own baby holding her own baby, is divine. You see, my first baby was a little boy born in 1978. He was a still-born baby. I know that my Savior is alive and well aware of all of our broken parts, and YES, He truly does restore "the years the locust have stolen!!" My heart overflows with new life.
I congratulate and respect any of you readers who are Grandmothers! I have a new respect for the privileged title!

Cuffs Galore

                                 I have been creating many new cuff bracelets. I decided to return to my ETSY site.
                            
Oprah was wearing a tassel-like sash and a bracelet on her very last show. I have never seen a tasseled bracelet, so I tried to create one. This is what evolved. It took many hours to make but it is very different!
                              This evening, these bracelets will be for sale on ETSY under The Robinbird's Nest.


                               My photos don't give justice to the sunshine-like brilliance of the many crystals and        rhinestones that are in these cuffs. From the palest pink, to the darkest maroon; this cuff is a must have if you like pink tones!


Much detail has been put into creating each bracelet as a one-of-a-kind treasure.
I made this cuff from a piece of denim fabric. The clasp and the rhinestone in the middle of the flower match.


This 3-D floral cuff is perfect for a bride or for the wedding party to wear. It is white and very lacey and feminine!

Green, green and more green! This bobbly shiny glass-beaded bracelet is perfect for that greenest dress or blouse!

This flower is outlined with tiny red crystals that shine like red gold!
 Full of crystals that glimmer and a very old black rhinestone pin in the center.
This rusty-brown cuff is my MOST favorite!
There are three flowers adorned with gold crystal beads that shine like fools-gold!
There are tiny little glass beads adorning this entire cuff. Sorry the camera does NOT do the shimmer on this one, justice. This cuff is GORGEOUS with brown or navy!

                                               This simple, silvery floral cuff shines like it is smiling!
                I got a little retro with this mod-like flower. Sour grass, wild chartreuse colored whimsy!

This is stunning and elegant! Shiny-gold thread with one flower that is outlined with tiny glass beads and a fake pearl in the middle!

 This red flower is outlined with the tiniest red glass beads. There are small red crystals woven throughout this cuff. If you like RED this is for you!
This golden-bronze looking cuff is very detailed. It is thicker than my usual ones. There are a multitude of gold colored buttons sewn on to this one of a kind cuff!

 Pewter and pearl become friends in this cuff. It is simple and yet showy. If you like the color of silver, you will love this one!
I made this cuff simply to show off this gold and black button. The button raises up as the main interest on this one!
